故事发生在古代的越南，有一家名叫唐山馆的客栈矗立在荒郊野岭之中，在这里掌事的，是名叫乔氏（青恒 Thanh Hang 饰）的女掌柜。乔氏拥有好几个手下——桃氏（玉娟 Ngoc Quyen 饰）、柳氏和梅氏（武范艳咪 Diem My 饰），她们除了各个都姿色过人外，还是数一数二的杀手。在乔氏的带领之下，一众女子劫富济贫，在江湖上有口皆碑。
某日，当乔氏抢劫了一颗贡奉给朝廷的舍利之后，她和她的唐山馆惹上了杀身之祸。朝廷派出了密探禁军杨伶，他伪装成羊倌潜入了唐山馆内。铃兰（曾青霞 Tang Thanh Ha 饰）是杨伶的未婚妻，为了帮助恋人，她也乔装打扮混入唐山馆，但是在乔氏无微不至的照顾和帮助之下，两人之间产生了真挚的友谊。
